Acorns is a private nursery in Bucharest, operating continuously and evolving for over 20 years. Our educational programme is based on the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and is delivered entirely in English.
EYFS offers interactive learning in a cheerful, motivating and safe environment — designed to adapt to each child's needs. The programme is structured across four age groups: Baby Acorns (1-3), Shiny Stars (3-4), Rainbows (4-5) and Early Explorers (5-6).

At Acorns, relationships are the foundation. Our educators build genuine connections with each child, so they feel seen, heard and understood. A child who feels emotionally safe has the courage to explore, ask and try. The environment is continuously adapted to the curriculum and treated as the third educator supporting the learning process.

Children take part in social responsibility projects Acorns has supported for years — events and initiatives such as Health Fair, World Heart Day and Green Fair. We work closely with families and the community to build a balanced, respectful setting.
Acorns Nursery operates in central Bucharest, District 2 — 63 Popa Soare Street. The space is warm, bright and welcoming, with a spacious and safe garden, because time spent outdoors is essential to us.
Children enjoy meals cooked daily in our own kitchen, with attention to balance, freshness and the specific needs of each age — and to the nationalities and cultural backgrounds of our children. Allergies and dietary restrictions are respected with great care.
Thanks to the British programme and our community, children are exposed from an early age to an environment where diversity is naturally encouraged. Every child and every educator brings their own identity, culture and perspective — supporting inclusion, tolerance and mutual respect.
